Where do we start?! There is so much to do in Weymouth, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

From beach combing to sailing, walking to heritage steam trains, the Jurassic Coast to birdwatching, there is something for everyone – and that’s not including all the exciting seasonal events which take place each year too.

 

No wonder Weymouth has been such a popular holiday destination for almost 250 years!

 

For families, there is the beautiful beach, three miles of award-winning safe soft sand and shingle with plenty of seaside amusements for the little (and not so little) ones: swinging horses, roundabouts, trampolines, ice creams and even donkey rides – just like the good old days. And if that’s not enough, in the summer ‘Professor’ Mark Poulton sets up his Punch and Judy show to entertain all comers. That’s the way to do it!

 

If it’s adventure you’re after, how about the Wild Weymouth Discovery Centre at Radipole Lake with reptile days and bug hunts and summer holiday fun? For bigger adventurers, there’s the Tank Museum at Bovington.
